     Everyone has a different perspective on what a healthy lifestyle is, but that is really about practicing good health habits and giving up harmful ones. You can only get positive feedback from it with a healthy lifestyle, such as feeling good; you’ll have more time, sleep better and be more comfortable and look good; you’ll have a good toned body, strong muscles, healthy hair and skin with bright eyes, and most importantly you’ll be happy; you’ll get a better perspective on life. You start with small steps, simple changes, to start a new “life” by saying. Which in time will bring big changes.

    A healthy lifestyle has both short- and long-term health benefits. Long term, eating a balanced diet, taking regular exercise and maintaining a healthy weight can add years to your life and reduce the risk of certain diseases including cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and obesity. In the short-term it can also make you feel and look your best, give you more energy and help you maintain a healthy weight. The key to reducing the risk of these diseases is making small changes to your daily lives – eating healthier food, getting your 5-a-day, having treats occasionally, and taking more exercise. Improving your lifestyle with small steps in the right direction will have a big impact on your well-being.

    The students from Mindanao State University – Senior High School, General Santos City would like to lessen or eradicate as much as they could regarding these symptoms and bad habits of Filipinos on their health. They want to let the people know that everything that they do in their lives especially in their bodies could possibly affect their future’s health at any means.
